The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Kansas City Royals in exciting fashion on Tuesday. It looked like the home Royals were going to get the win as they went into the ninth inning with a two-run lead. Enter Willy Adames. Adames came up to the plate with two runners on in the ninth, and he sent a deep fly ball to left field that cleared the fences and put the Brewers up 6-5. They took care of business in the bottom of the ninth and ended up winning the game thanks to Adames' heroics.

Perhaps the best part of Willy Adames' game-winning home run is the fact that he called his shot to fans while he was on deck. Brewers manager Pat Murphy witnessed the whole thing, and he described the situation after the game.

He’s carrying on with [the fans] during Gary’s at-bat, and he’s telling them — they’re Kansas City fans — he’s telling them, ‘One more ball,’” Pat Murphy said, according to an article from SB Nation. “Then he goes back to them and goes, ‘Here we go.’”

Adames was telling the fans that if he gets a chance to go up to the plate, he's going to give the Brewers the lead. Adames delivered on his prediction.

“Willy is announcing to them ‘if I get up there, we’re gonna take the lead,’” Murphy added. “He turns back to them and goes ‘watch this:’”

According to Adames, he was having a good time talking to fans the entire game. He had a good experience with them and Royals fans were apparently saying that they wanted him in Kansas City. He showed them at the end of the game that he definitely has the clutch gene.

“They were talking, talking the whole game,” Adames told Bally Sports Wisconsin after the win. “They were friendly. They were like ‘we want you, we want you.’ And I told them, are you sure about that?”

That was a cool moment for Adames and the Brewers, and they picked up a big win in the process to improve to 21-14 on the year.

Willy Adames has had a lot of cool moments throughout this career, but this was one of the best. Home runs are tough to get, and the fact that he called his shot made this one even more special. Adames had a lot of good things to say about his experience with Royals fans after the game.

“Oh my God, that was the coolest thing I ever done,” Adames said, according to an article from ESPN. “You know, sometimes the fans will be very hard, but these guys hear, they were amazing. They were having a good time. Like, all my at-bats, we were chatting, and then the last one was obviously the most fun.”

We'll see if Adames can have some more fun with Royals fans on Wednesday as the two teams will meet again to conclude a three-game series. The Royals won the first game and the Brewers obviously won on Tuesday, so Wednesday's game is the rubber match. It will get started at 2:10 ET.
