The Denver Broncos were unable to keep their winning streak going in Week 7 after being thoroughly dismantled 30-6 by the Kansas City Chiefs. It is safe to say that the offense continues to be a problem in the 2019 NFL season.

The Broncos have struggled to find their footing with quarterback Joe Flacco running the show. Their inability to come through when they need it most cost them an opportunity to potentially get a winning streak going.

Announcer Joe Buck pointed out during the game that Denver has gone a mere 5-of-41 on third-down conversions over their last four games. Their woes in this situation were especially prevalent against the Chiefs when they went 1-of-13 on third down.

Although there are a number of factors that have attributed to this abysmal conversion rate, there is no question that most of their problems begin under center. Flacco completed 21-of-34 attempts with the bulk of his production coming in the fourth quarter with the game already out of reach. Of course, his lackluster outing was hardly the only reason they fell behind.

Denver's special teams committed multiple blunders that served as key turning points of the game such as the missed 45-yard field goal by kicker Brandon McManus and the failed fake punt on fourth down. The only aspect of the game in which this team can take solace in was the defense's ability to prevent them from capitalizing too much.

The Broncos had shown signs of life for a potential turnaround, however, they will need to fix their issues on offense before such a resurgence becomes possible.
