There are a ton of quarterback battles across the NFL, including the New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers. One of the other battles is the Denver Broncos, as they decide between Drew Lock and Tedd Bridgewater. Lock, the Broncos' incumbent, looks to be the favorite. However, Bridgewater has performed well in practice and in the preseason games.

Broncos head coach Vic Fangio spoke on the situation, and according to Charean Williams of Pro Football Talk, the battle is up in the air–still.

“We haven’t decided that yet…We just want to do it at the right time, meaning the right time obviously for the players involved, the team, for everybody.”

That isn't entirely a surprise, but the Broncos will need to make a decision soon. Could they end up playing BOTH guys for the regular-season opener? Let's hope not, but don't rule out that possibility.

On the other, the Broncos' battle is a good one, and that might not be a bad scenario for Fangio and company.

“It’s pretty damn close…It is close, and I think it’s close for a good reason. They both have played well. The good news of this competition is we’ve got two quarterbacks we feel we can go win with.”

Still, the regular season kicks off on September 12 and the Broncos will face the New York Giants, and they will have a tough decision to make over the next couple of weeks.
