The Denver Broncos organization got some unfortunate news earlier in the week when they found out that thirty-three-year-old Demaryius Thomas, unfortunately, passed away. Many former players that had the pleasure to play with the Broncos all-time great gave their heartfelt comments and love to his family while sharing the moments that Thomas and they had during their time in the league.

Broncos all-time great quarterback Peyton Manning reflected on what Thomas meant to him,

“He will be dearly missed. … He was a big reason why I came out here to play.”

Not only was Demaryius Thomas an all-time great wide receiver, but he was a well-respected person off the field. Everybody who interacted with him had nothing but nice things to say. He will be dearly missed by all of the NFL community. We have seen many players come out and speak about the type of impact that he had on their lives and careers in the NFL.

The Broncos are planning to have tributes around the stadium on Sunday to show love for Thomas and his family. Many former players of the Broncos organization are at the game on Sunday to give their respect.

Denver is taking on the Detroit Lions in a game that they should be able to walk away with a win with. It will give the organization some sort of happiness after a tough week.
