Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was deemed as one of the highly-touted prospects in the 2020 NFL Draft.

He came in at a time when the ongoing coronavirus pandemic has limited offseason proceedings including OTAs and preseason games. Despite the circumstances, the former Crimson Tide is anything but worried and is only focused on showcasing his wares come Week 1:

“I don’t really think it’s really challenging for me because the more you practice, the more reps you get and the easier it gets,” Jeudy said, via the team’s website. “I feel like us practicing right now is helping me adjust to the game.

I know having OTAs and preseason games are a big deal, but I feel like if you’re not prepared when it’s game day, you’re not supposed to be out there. I feel like our coaches have been doing a good job preparing us to be ready for Sundays.”

The Broncos have added new pieces and young players during the offseason which will require the team to have a longer time to build chemistry with one another. The team recently encountered a setback when rookie wideout K.J. Hamler recently went down with a hamstring injury.

Jeudy will be given a heavier load if Hamler remains on the sidelines for an extended amount of time. The speedster from Alabama is already being expected to provide instant offense as a starter in head coach Vic Fangio's offense in the upcoming season.

The Broncos will find themselves in a favorable situation if a confident Jeudy will show out in the upcoming season. With added reinforcements on board, the Broncos are finally taking a shot to dethrone AFC West division leader Kansas City Chiefs in 2020.
