Behind an eight game losing streak, the 2017 season has quickly turned into a huge disappointment for the Denver Broncos and first-year head coach Vance Joseph.

To provide some context, it is the second-longest skid in the league behind only winless Cleveland Browns.

Despite that, Vance Joseph voiced on Friday that he can at least guarantee one thing from his team to the fans heading Sunday's contest against the New York Jets.

By way of  Executive Vice President of Public & Community Relations Patrick Smyth:

Things have gone a bit off the rails over the last few weeks on both sides of the ball that were clearly exemplified in last week's 35-9 loss to the Miami Dolphins, who were on a five-game losing streak. The offense put together just one scoring drive while giving up a pair of safeties.

Quarterback Trevor Siemian continued to struggle by throwing three interceptions, with one those returned for a touchdown. Meanwhile, the defense allowed 370 total offensive yards to the Dolphins, who finished averaging 5.7 yards per play.

The Broncos have a tough matchup against the Jets, who have been one of the more dynamic offenses in the last two weeks, averaging 32.5 points per game over the span. This has largely happened due to their passing game, which is  managed by quarterback Josh McCown.

Furthermore, New York's dynamic wide receiver duo of Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse have become the first players in the league to each post 100 receiving yards in back-to-back games.
