While Los Angeles Rams linebacker Von Miller is gearing up for his second career Super Bowl, he's sure to be reminiscing about his first Super Bowl appearance back in 2015. Of course, Miller was an All-Pro for the Denver Broncos the last time he competed for the Lombardi Trophy, having just been traded to the Rams this season. Ahead of Super Bowl 56, Miller was asked about the blockbuster trade and whether or not he wanted to depart Denver. In a surprising response, via Zac Stevens, Miller revealed that if it were up to him, he would never have left the Broncos.

Miller says he wanted to be a Bronco for life and that he still considers himself as a Denver Bronco, insisting he was “just in LA working.”

Miller was traded to the Rams from the Broncos back in early November. The deal sent Miller to Los Angeles in exchange for a 2022 second-round pick and a 2022 third-round pick. It seems like a trade that has paid off for both parties, with Denver acquiring future assets and the Rams getting an immediate playmaker and experienced Super Bowl champion for their own championship pursuit.

When it's all said and done, however, Miller said it best himself. This stint in Los Angeles is purely a business trip, and home for the eight-time Pro Bowler is, and always will be, Denver.

The former Bronco played the first 10 years of his career in the Mile High City, making 8 Pro Bowls and getting selected to three First-Team All-Pro's. He won Super Bowl 50 with the franchise in 2015 and was named Super Bowl MVP.
