Denver Broncos star Von Miller has made it clear that the team is done with losing and next season is going to be a lot different. The Broncos finished the 2019 season with a 4-1 record, but that still wasn't enough to get to the playoffs, after a terrible start to the season.

Miller said after the Broncos Week 17 victory that next year is going to be different.

“We’re done with this losing [expletive],” said outside linebacker Von Miller via the Broncos team website. “Next year is going to be our year, and I’ll be ready to go.”

There were some thoughts that he might want out because of the losing, but Miller has made it clear he wants to be with the team long term. One of the reasons there have been so optimism the last few weeks surronding the team has been the play of rookie quarterback Drew Lock.

The stats haven't been jumping off the page, but he has been making big throws at key times and taking good care of the ball.

“I can’t say enough good things about Drew Lock, a 4-1 football player,” rookie Dalton Risner said. “It is hard to win games in the NFL, especially when you are a rookie. The dude deserved to be drafted in the first round, and I think that he has proven that these past five games. I think Drew is going to kick a lot of ass next year.”

If Lock can continue the strong play going into next season the”losing [expletive]” should be over.
