Cornerback Chris Harris Jr. is set to become an unrestricted free agent on Wednesday. In a recent interview on NFL Total Access, Harris expressed that there's no chance he'll be returning to the Denver Broncos this upcoming season.

In the same interview, Haris explained that he wants to end his career on a high note and wants a chance to win another Super Bowl.

“It’s time to win again,” Harris said. “So I want to get back into a great situation and have a chance to win another Super Bowl. A be able to finish my career on a high note.”

Harris played phenomenal in his ten years with the Broncos. The four-time Pro Bowler recorded 20 interceptions, four forced fumbles, and a combined 518 tackles in his time with the Broncos. However, the 30-year-old had one of the worst seasons of his career in the 2019 campaign, recording only one interception and 56 tackles.
Nevertheless, Harris could draw a lot of interest from teams in this upcoming free agency. One team that could be interested in him is the reigning Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. Chiefs safety Tyrann Mathieu has already publicly expressed interest in teaming up Harris this upcoming season. Harris could expect to earn a contract worth roughly $15 million per year for this upcoming free agency.

Despite the departure of Harris, the Broncos have already begun exploring replacements for him. Recently, the Broncos traded for A.J. Bouye from the Jacksonville Jaguars and could possibly be exploring more possibilities once free agency begins.
