The Cleveland Browns did not shy away from making splashy moves in the offseason, acquiring Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans and Amari Cooper from the Dallas Cowboys. The two stars will instantly reshape the team's floundering offense.

On Wednesday, in a report by Heavy, Cooper said he is eager to work with Watson now that the Browns' offseason program is officially underway. He also shared the moment he learned that the beleaguered yet talented quarterback was also acquired by the Browns.

“I was happy. I was elated. My friends called me right away. I was in another country. I was in Dubai. I was extremely happy. Guys were like, ‘Man, you are lucky.’ It was some of my former teammates, and I was like, ‘What?’ Then I checked social media and the news, and I found out that information. It was cool. I was happy about it.”

It's hard to blame Cooper, a four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver, to feel thrilled about teaming up with a dynamic QB like Watson with the Browns. But of course, it's also hard to imagine Baker Mayfield, who turned from starting QB to Watson's backup, not feeling a little slighted.

Mayfield has already requested a trade, openly expressing that he felt disrespected with the addition of Watson, who's still facing legal problems. Many have speculated that it won't be long until Mayfield gets shipped by the Browns.

But in the meantime, he, Cooper, and Watson will have to roll up their sleeves in the Browns' offseason training.
