The Cleveland Browns snapped their four-game losing streak on Sunday with an impressive 28-16 win over the surging Atlanta Falcons.

This saw them put together some steady performances on both sides of the ball with rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield putting together one of the more efficient outings of his brief NFL career. Following the game, he had some comical comments about what lead to him being able to play in the fashion that he did, according to Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com.

I just woke up feeling real dangerous,’’ he said with a laugh.

Mayfield played as he felt on the field against the Falcons secondary by completing 17-of-20 passes for 216 yards with three touchdown passes while holding a 97.1 passer rating. He was efficient with his throws playing mistake-free while he was able to benefit from fellow rookie running back Nick Chubb putting together the best performance of the season with 20 carries for 176 rushing yards with a touchdown. This includes ripping through for a 92-yard touchdown run that helped further set the tone and the table for Mayfield to put together a strong outing with his first career three-touchdown pass performance.

He took full advantage of the matchup facing one of the league's worst pass defenses that rank 27th in the league while giving up 8.0 yards per attempt, and 21 touchdown passes. Mayfield showed his precision with his throws along with strong decision making that helped push his team to a huge win against a playoff-caliber team. He has now recorded multiple touchdown passes five times this season and in the last four straight games played while surpassing more than 200 passing yards all but once.

The Browns are set to head into their Week 11 bye where they will have a chance to retool and refocus for their next matchup on the road against Cincinnati Bengals.
