Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield was hyped up after watching the team get back in their Week 15 game against the Las Vegas Raiders with a Nick Chubb third quarter touchdown.
After falling 10-0 at halftime, the Browns made it a close game when Chubb ran for four yards to get the touchdown. The Cleveland star running back forced his way through, using his elite footwork to escape the defense crowding the end zone.
Aside from the Nick Chubb TD, though, Baker Mayfield–who was unable to play in the game after failing to clear COVID-19 protocols–also gave credit to star guard and left tackle Joel Bitonia after he cleared the way for the star RB with a pancake block.
Here's a closer look at Bitonia's defense that was undoubtedly crucial in the Browns' successful drive:
Now that's why Chub and Bitonia are Pro Bowlers!
It is also just the boost the Browns needed as they entered the contest without their starting quarterback and his backup. As mentioned, Mayfield could not clear the NFL COVID-19 protocol after the team's latest testing. It was the same case for Case Keenum, pushing Nick Mullens to take over as QB in his first start of the year.
