The Cleveland Browns have extended their winning streak to four with their 32-23 victory over the Indianapolis Colts in Week 5. However, there is some concern regarding the hit quarterback Baker Mayfield in the fourth quarter.

Mayfield managed to remain on the field for the rest of the game. Regardless, head coach Kevin Stefanski says he will receive an x-ray on his ribs, per ESPN's Adam Schefter:

Mayfield had to be examined in the blue medical tent on the sideline after taking the shot from Colts defensive end Justin Houston. Although it was encouraging to see him finish out the game, fans will be holding their breath to make sure it was not just adrenaline that got him through it.

Even before the injury, Mayfield largely struggled to find his footing against this formidable Colts' defense after completing just 21 of 37 passes for 247 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. Regardless, the Browns' offense has enjoyed quite a resurgence in recent weeks and still managed to keep it going thanks to a healthy balance of run and pass.

The prospect of Mayfield having to miss any time would undoubtedly deal a crushing blow to this star-studded offense, especially with running back Nick Chubb still on injured reserve. For now, they can take solace in the fact that they have now moved to 4-1 in the 2020 NFL season. They will have a chance to potentially take control of the AFC North when they hit the road to take on the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 6.
