There are a few teams in the NFL that will be wearing new uniforms in the 2020 season and the Cleveland Browns are one of them. According to JW Johnson, who is part of Cleveland's ownership group, the team will unveil their new uniforms in April.

Last offseason, Jimmy Haslam, the owner of the Browns, shared that Cleveland would be sporting new threads in the 2020 season. At the same time, Haslam also made it clear that the Browns would continue to play at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Since Cleveland's entree into the NFL, they've embraced orange, brown and white as their team colors. Therefore, the new uniforms will likely maintain the same colors while giving the Browns a more modern look. The new uniforms will likely be released in time for the 2020 NFL Draft, which is scheduled to begin on April 23.

Of course, with the franchise making some changes for the future, some fans are wondering if receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is part of Cleveland's long-term plans. As a matter of fact, the Browns featured Beckham as one of the players that will help unveil the uniforms.

Even though that doesn't guarantee he will be with the team beyond 2020, it makes it more likely he remains in Cleveland for at least the upcoming season. With Kevin Stefanski being hired as the Browns' new head coach, he likely wants a chance to work with the Pro Bowl receiver.

Also, for Baker Mayfield to succeed, he needs as many weapons on offense as possible. Unlike last offseason, Cleveland isn't being given lofty expectations after an active offseason. While the Browns enter yet another era with Stefanski, they will also be transitioning to new uniforms in the near future.
