It hasn't taken long for Odell Beckham Jr. to get himself into some hot water in Cleveland.

The star wide receiver has not been present at Browns organized team activities, and head coach Freddie Kitchens finally seems to be losing his patience after defending Beckham all the way up until now.

Fox Sports talk-show host Colin Cowherd says there are a lot of problems in Cleveland, calling Beckham's absence a “crisis”:

“The Browns got a real crisis on their hands,” said Cowherd on The Herd. “Seventy-five days since the trade, he's been in Cleveland for three days. The coach is pissed and now he's going public with it.”

This is the exact type of behavior that got Beckham into trouble with the New York Giants.

Undoubtedly one of the league's best receivers, the Giants finally grew tired of Beckham doing things such as not showing up at training camp, making controversial comments through the media and engaging in questionable off-the-field incidents.

As a result, New York traded the 26-year-old to Cleveland for a first-round draft pick, a third-rounder and young safety Jabrill Peppers back in March.

Beckham, who played his collegiate football at LSU, was originally selected by the Giants with the 12th overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He made the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons, immediately stamping his name among the best wide receivers in football. However, Beckham has played in just 16 games combined over the last two years due to various injuries.

The Browns went 7-8-1 in 2018.
