Ole Miss wide receiver DK Metcalf wowed scouts, fans, and media alike at his NFL Combine showing, posting some impressive numbers while looking every bit as freakish as his early photos showed.

Now, he’s begun teasing where he’d like to play, and it’s alongside another electric young quarterback.

Speaking to the media during his press conference earlier this week, Cleveland Browns General Manager John Dorsey briefly discussed Metcalf, describing the wide receiver as a player that he’d love to potentially have on his roster.

“I’d like to have a 6-3 guy that can run 4.3. I’ll take that every day, but you’re not going to get those guys,” Dorsey said via 247 Sports.

Of course, word got around to Metcalf, who was quick to praise the Browns, and say that he’d love to work with young quarterback Baker Mayfield.

“Just to play with a quarterback like Baker Mayfield is going to be great. You know, it’s just another blessed opportunity just to get drafted by the Cleveland Brown organization so I’m gonna take it one step at a time right now.”

As DK Metcalf begins to draw comparisons to former Browns wide receiver Josh Gordon, his NFL stock has taken a dramatic rise after a stellar combine performance.

Metcalf ran a 4.33 second 40-yard dash, posted a 40.5 inch vertical leap, and his mystifying 1.6 percent body fat measurement sent the internet ablaze.

While Metcalf was once viewed as a potential first-round pick, now it seems like the better question to ask is whether he'll even make it No. 17, which is where the Browns pick currently resides.
