The Myles Garrett situation has become one of the main narratives for the Cleveland Browns this season. His actions had some fans wishing for his lifetime ban from the sport.

However, teammate Kareem Hunt offers solid advice to the 23-year-old defensive end, as he went through a similar experience last season.

According to BrownsZone's Scott Petrak, the running back told Garrett to keep his chin up and not let the issue completely affect him.

“I’ve been there, I’ve been in his position and it’s tough,” said Hunt, a dual-threat running back who’s been back for two games. “You’ve just got to take it day by day and be positive, even when you feel like it’s never going to end. I’m here now and finally got through the storm.”

He also shared that he talked to the Texas A&M product about the dilemma and provided useful insights to the media and the fans invested on the issue.

“I feel like he’s handling it,” Hunt said. “He’s ready to take responsibility … and that’s all you can do. Now just show everybody Myles is a good guy. He’s one of the best people I’ve seen. He’s a good person.”

Garrett was given a suspension for the remainder of the season for getting into an altercation with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph, hitting him on the head with his own helmet. Before the suspension was finalized, he made 29 tackles, forced two fumbles, and had 10 sacks.

The decision for Garrett's appeal against the season-long ban will be released today, and Browns fans hope that it will get overturned.
