NFL teams around the league are conducting minicamps as they prepare for the upcoming season. However, the Cleveland Browns received a scare on Thursday after Myles Garrett suffered an injury. But there's good news, as it doesn't sound like it's too serious.

Head coach, Kevin Stefanski told reporters that Garrett hurt his hamstring at the Browns' minicamp, according to the NFL's roundup on NFL.com. But Stefanski claimed the superstar pass rusher will “be fine.”

“DE  Myles Garrett will ‘be fine' after appearing to tweak his hamstring during Thursday's minicamp practice, coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters.”

It's that time of year when injuries can happen well before the start of the season. So, taking precautions is wise throughout the summer. Injuries happen and you just have to hope they're not serious. Luckily for Myles Garrett, he potentially dodged something that would sideline him for the long haul. But either way, the Browns are going to move forward cautiously. Especially considering the season doesn't kick off for several months.

Myles Garrett is easily one of the best defensive players in the league. He's taken over as an elite pass rusher since being drafted by the Browns in 2017. Throughout his career, Garrett has recorded 305 total tackles (94) for a loss, 88.5 sacks, 17 forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries, and a defensive touchdown. He took home the Defensive Player of the Year award for the 2023 season.

He'll aim to build upon his impressive resume next season as the Browns hope to make a deep playoff run. They've been hit with a string of bad luck over recent years but have played as one of the most competitive teams in the league as well. Cleveland is starving for a Super Bowl and the franchise hopes to bring that to fruition soon.

Cleveland is shaping up to be one of the best teams in the league next season. They a shutdown defense along with a productive offense. Additionally, they have stacked coaching staff as well. Overall, the Browns have the pieces to compete and should be in the mix for the playoffs.

However, the AFC North is one of the best in the league right now. The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals have Super Bowl aspirations while the Pittsburgh Steelers are always competitive. The Browns must find a way to beat out their divisional rivals, otherwise it could lead to a disappointing season.

All eyes are on quarterback, Deshaun Watson as he hasn't played relatively well since being traded to the Browns. If he can get back in form then this franchise will have a fighting chance.
