The Cleveland Browns will be coming out on the field without their star pass-rusher in Myles Garrett once again for Week 12 action against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The former Texas A&M standout was recently placed in the team's COVID-19 reserve list after testing positive for the virus, as per NFL Network‘s Ian Rapoport.

Garrett previously missed the Browns' most recent encounter against the Philadelphia Eagles who continued on their struggles as of late. The Browns' defensive line was suffocating all throughout even without him and went on to sack Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz for a total of five times in the game.

The Browns managed to be in the driver's seat for the entirety of the tilt en route to a 22-17 victory. Their most recent win ultimately lifted them to tally a 7-3 record to finally overtake the Baltimore Ravens for the second spot in the loaded AFC North division.

Prior to his absence, Garrett has been on a tear lately where he has already recorded 9.5 sacks and 31 total tackles through nine games played for the Browns. He can eventually emerge as one of the favorites to win the NFL Defensive Player of the Year award this season if he continues to perform at this pace.

Luckily for head coach Kevin Stefanski and his men, they are heading to face a lowly Jaguars squad who are coming off a disastrous nine-game losing skid.

The Browns will aim to add another victory to their win column in Week 12 and boost their chances of snagging a playoff seat heading into the latter stages of the season.
