After a terrible 45-7 loss at the hands of the New England Patriots, the Cleveland Browns are in desperate need of a return to health from their star running backs, Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt.

However, there's no clarity as to whether or not the two will return this week, according to Tom Withers. As of Monday morning, Withers tweeted out this:

As Withers notes, Hunt has been the most significant loss in recent weeks for Cleveland, as his last game was all the way back in Week 6 against the Arizona Cardinals, the game he suffered the injury in.

Chubb didn't suffer an injury, but he was diagnosed with COVID-19 this past week, and will likely return next week barring any setbacks.

Though the Browns struggled mightily in these two's absence this past week, it may be more of an issue with the defense and passing attack than the running game. D'Ernest Johnson, the third-string running back, posted 99 yards on only 19 carries, and also put up 58 yards through the air, showing that he is certainly capable of taking on a workhorse load and performing efficiently with it.

Still, the Browns are a much better team when Chubb and Hunt are on the field together. Chubb is one of best pure runners in the league, and Hunt is among the league's most versatile at the running back position, as he's a natural route-runner and runs with ferocity with the ball in his hands.

Luckily for Cleveland, their next contest gives them an opportunity to bounce back against the 0-8-1 Detroit Lions. However, Detroit gave the Steelers a run for their money this past week, and the Browns should not take them lightly.

As further updates come out regarding Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt's status for Week 11, we will continue to provide the latest coverage.
