After what felt like an eternal hiatus, Odell Beckham Jr. finally made his return for the Cleveland Browns last Sunday. He tallied five receptions and 77 yards, helping the Browns manhandle the Chicago Bears, 26-6.

It was Beckham's first significant field appearance since tearing his ACL in October 2020. OBJ, however, has suffered another setback as he was relegated as a “limited participant” in their practice on Wednesday due to a shoulder injury he sustained against the Bears.

Hopefully, it's just a minor one. But Beckham wasn't too thrilled already, as he wanted to sweat it out more (via Browns).

“No, I wasn’t limited, not that I know of. I remember taking all the reps.”

Still, Beckham sounds like he's in good spirits. After they beat the Bears, he said he's been training hard and he's in great shape. While he admitted that his shoulder popped out, he said it was just normal “football stuff.” He was listed as a “full participant” during their practice on Thursday.

When healthy, the 28-year-old Beckham is one of the most talented wide receivers in the NFL. Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said OBJ will always be an option for them, but they're not rushing him.

“Obviously, we have to get the ball in our best players’ hands, and Odell is one of those guys, but not at the expense of jeopardizing the offense and the system. There was some growth in that area for sure. O will continue to be a big part of this offense moving forward, and he will continue to have more catches and more production as the year goes on.”

With fellow wide receiver Jarvis Landry out for three weeks due to an MCL injury, Odell Beckham Jr. will even get more opportunities.

The Browns will face the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
