The Cleveland Browns have had an up and down week. First, Jarvis Landry was placed on the IR. Then the status of Odell Beckham Jr. was up in the air after he missed the first two games of the regular season.
Beckham has been trending upwards all week, and according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Beckham is ready to roll for Sunday against the Chicago Bears.
#Browns WR Odell Beckham Jr, attempting to fully return from a torn ACL, is not listed on the injury report for the team’s game on Sunday.

This is terrific news for the Browns, especially considering that they were potentially going to be without both Landry and Beckham for Sunday. The former New York Giants star has been working hard to return from a torn ACL that ended his 2020 campaign, and barring a setback should be set to play against Justin Fields and the Bears.
🚨 Odell Beckham, Jr. will play Sunday vs the Bears, barring any final setbacks, per sources. Beckham, who hasn’t played since suffering a torn ACL on Oct. 25, has worked diligently to return and re-assert himself among the league’s top receivers. He’s a Comeback POY candidate.

The Browns are excited about his return and are hoping he can return to the superstar he was in New York after a subpar couple of seasons in a Cleveland uniform. In 2020, he played just seven games, totaling 23 catches for 319 yards and three scores. The year before, he had 1035 yards on 74 catches in a full 16-game slate, so here’s to hoping that Beckham can make a return to that form.
Sunday’s game should be a good one.
