The Cleveland Browns dropped to 1-2 on the season on Sunday night after falling to the Los Angeles Rams by a score of 20-13 at home, marking their third straight lackluster performance offensively.

Afterward, Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. said that the team is still trying to find themselves.

“I don't want to give an excuse that we're a young team and we're fresh and new together, but we're still trying to find ourselves and find our identity,’’ said Beckham, according to Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer. “This Rams team has been together. They know what plays, when you do this, that. It's just what they've done. They didn't get to the Super Bowl by luck.”

Beckham has a point, and it's a big reason why many people are not exactly surprised by Cleveland's 1-2 start.

The Browns added a lot of new pieces this offseason, including Beckham, and it's not like their early-season schedule did them any favors, as they opened up against a tough Tennessee Titans club before having to battle the defending NFC champions in Week 3.

But Beckham thinks that Cleveland will put it all together eventually.

“We're going to put it all together. We're just finding the pieces right now, and I feel like once we discover exactly who we are and this team and everyone knows exactly who we are, we'll be able to close games like that.”
