Thanks to a high-profile offseason in which the Cleveland Browns added big names on both sides of the football, the Browns are the trendy pick to win the AFC North division title next season.

Count former Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Clark among those who feels that Cleveland will finish the year atop the division, going as far to say on ESPN's Get Up! that he is “all in” on the team.

The thing is, Clark is not just looking at what should be an explosive Browns offense headlined by Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Nick Chubb, and Kareem Hunt.

He is also looking at Cleveland's defense, which made a couple of significant additions in linebacker Olivier Vernon and defensive lineman Sheldon Richardson, not to mention rookie cornerback Greedy Williams.

Of course, while the Browns look good on paper, they still have a heck of a lot to prove, especially in an AFC North that should be very competitive with the likes of the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers challenging Cleveland.

Let's remember that the Ravens won 10 games and captured the division crown this past season, and the Steelers were not far behind at 9-6-1. Plus, the Browns don't exactly have an easy schedule, particularly at the start of the year when three of their first four games will come against opponents that were playoff teams in 2018.

Regardless, it's good to see all of this excitement for a Cleveland franchise that has not made the playoffs since the 2002-03 campaign, the longest active postseason drought in the NFL.
