Cleveland Browns star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. is rekindling some of his old magic as the former New York Giants wideout makes his first trip back to MetLife stadium as an opponent.

The 26-year-old LSU standout is facing the New York Jets at the Meadowlands, with the Jets and Giants sharing the north Jersey multi-purpose stadium. Meaning, Beckham Jr.'s matchup with the Jets allows him to crank up revenge for fans at the same stadium he used to razzle and dazzle.

Beckham hauled in a beautiful one-handed reception on the Browns' opening drive on Monday night.

Despite the red zone reception by the former offensive rookie of the year, Beckham and the Browns had to settle for an opening-drive field goal to kick off their affair with the Jets, who are without second-year franchise quarterback Sam Darnold, sidelined with mono for an extended period.

Former Denver Broncos quarterback Trevor Siemian is in as Darnold's backup, which disappointed NFL fans who hoped to see Darnold duel against last year's number-one overall selection in the 2018 draft, Heisman Trophy–winning Oklahoma signal-caller Baker Mayfield. The previous Browns-Jets clash saw the Browns snap a lengthy winless streak, and the Monday night nationally televised game might have sparked more magic between the two franchises seeking to shake off irrelevancy.

Certainly with the magic of OBJ, though, the Browns are in business for more speculator plays.
