If there’s anyone who understands how Tom Brady of the Buccaneers must be feeling right now, it’s Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre. After having a legendary 16-year stint with the Green Bay Packers, Favre extended his career by playing for the New York Jets in 2008 and the Minnesota Vikings in from 2009 to 2010.

Which is why it wasn’t surprising to see the 50-year old former signal caller supporting Tom Brady ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers home debut against the Carolina Panthers.

The 11-time Pro Bowler was spotted making his way through stands at the Raymond James Stadium before Tampa Bay’s game against the Panthers, and looked to be in good spirits as he munched on some chips. And if there was any question about who he was rooting for, Favre’s t-shirt made the message clear, which is a picture of Tom Brady’s face placed on top of the team’s Bucco Bruce logo.

Tom Brady is set to make his home debut for the Buccaneers in Week 2 following his first game with the team last week, which ended in a 34-23 loss to the New Orleans Saints. The six-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots is looking to bounce back for a sub-par performance in his debut for Tampa Bay, which saw the 43-year old make just 23 of 46 passes and throwing two interceptions, including a pick six, in the loss to the Saints.

It certainly helps to know that one of the game’s greatest quarterbacks has his back and is cheering Tom Brady on from the stands.
