Ahead of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' NFL playoff showdown with the Los Angeles Rams, talks about Tom Brady's future became a trending topic. It came after a report suggested that it won't be surprising for some Bucs players if the QB retires after the postseason.

However, head coach Bruce Arians doesn't think Brady is even thinking about such stuff at the moment. TB12 has given no indication that he wants to call it a career, and by the way he conducts himself at practice, all signs point towards him returning to the Buccaneers no matter how the season ends.

“The way he was at practice (Friday), I would be shocked if he didn’t (play next year),” Arians said of Brady, per Rick Stroud of Tampa Bay Times. “You know they have that Friday quarterback challenge, and he came flying out of the locker room, sprinting two or three fields away and couldn’t wait to get into the challenge. He was like a little kid. I would be shocked.”

At 44 years old, Tom Brady has nothing left to prove. He has accomplished everything there is to win, and he will certainly go down as one of, if not the greatest NFL player of all time.

However, it is truly hard to imagine to see him call it a career. He recorded another brilliant season with the Buccaneers, proving that he still has a ton left in the tank.

While some might think it would be better for Brady to retire while he is dominating instead of risking his legacy with a poor season, those who know how he thinks understands his competitive mentality. He loves winning, and as Bruce Arians hinted, he continues to embrace the challenge thrown at him.
