Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians is hoping Tom Brady does not repeat some of the errors he committed during the NFC Championship Game come next Sunday.

Arians spoke Tuesday about Brady's determination to get the ball to Mike Evans and how it resulted in a couple of bad interceptions. During an appearance on Buccaneers Radio Network, Arians stressed the need for Brady to make proper reads and get everyone involved as the Bucs prepare to take on the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl:

“We threw a couple of interceptions [against Green Bay] trying to get [Mike Evans] the ball,” Arians said, via Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk. “And I think sometimes we know Mike is such a weapon we say, ‘Let’s force it to him.’ And I get in that habit myself. Just let it play out. You know, let Chris [Godwin] and Scotty [Miller] and everybody else do their job. We had a big, big screen pass to Gronk in the fourth quarter, but yeah, sometimes we can force it to Mike.”

The first Buccaneers interception came when Brady threw the ball up the field instead of leading Evans towards the sideline. It was a bit of a questionable throw, anyway, as Jaire Alexander was blanketing Evans in coverage.

Conversely, Evans was open on the second interception. However, Brady overthrew the Pro Bowler, costing Tampa Bay at least three points. The third came when Brady heaved the ball in Evans' direction facing a safety blitz off the edge.

Granted, Evans is the Buccaneers' top playmaker in the passing game, a deep threat capable of making plays down the field and making contested catches. But Arians does not want Brady to forget his other options as the Bucs scheme to dissect Kansas City's defense.
