The Tampa Bay Buccaneers might be without three of their top weapons for their game Sunday against the Washington Football Team. Wide receive Chris Godwin is dealing with a foot injury and did not practice Wednesday. The fact that the Buccaneers are coming off their bye week and Godwin was not able to practice the first day back is not a good sign.

Godwin is having a stellar season, leading the Bucs in catches and receiving yards.

Tampa Bay has already been without tight end Rob Gronkowski and wide receiver Antonio Brown. Neither of them were able to practice Wednesday either.

That leaves fantasy managers still grasping at options. Obviously, if Godwin is unable to suit up, it creates more targets for Mike Evans. They also signed WR Breshad Perriman to the practice squad.

Perriman is not a recommended in any league outside of deep 16-team leagues.

However, it makes Buccaneers WR Tyler Johnson an interesting option. He could be especially useful in PPR leagues. Last week, he had a season-high 5 catches on 6 targets for 65 yards.

It would make a lot of sense for Washington to drop a safety over the top of Evans, and that could create a lot of space over the middle of the field. That is where Johnson typically operates.

It might also open up targets for Cameron Brate and OJ Howard. But it remains to be seen which of the two would garner more playing time, so that might be a gamble not worth taking.
