The Tampa Bay Buccaneers took care of the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, although Matt Ryan and the Falcons made it more interesting than anybody thought it would be. But, it was Buccaneers defender Mike Edwards who accomplished a strange feat.

Edwards picked off Matt Ryan in the fourth quarter and returned it for a score.

That play put the Bucs up by a couple of scores, but that wasn't all. In a wild turn of events, Matt Ryan threw ANOTHER pick-six, this one AGAIN to Mike Edwards.

You can't make this stuff up, really.

So, in the matter of one quarter, Mike Edwards had not one, but TWO interceptions returned for touchdowns and the Buccaneers finished this game on a 20-point run in a thrilling fashion.

Tom Brady threw five touchdowns, but that is almost normal for him. Yet, the story is Mike Edwards, and can we say that he will walk away with Defensive Player of the Week?

The Bucs move to 2-0 on the year, and the Falcons go to 0-2 as these teams will head to Week 3 with totally different directions of their respective teams.

Either way, have a day Mike Edwards, who definitely deserves to win Defensive Player of the Week after that!
