Buccaneers CB Richard Sherman’s Twitter clapback at fan takes drastic turn

Richard Sherman Buccaneers Bucs Twitter

Richard Sherman got some brutal injury news after just his third game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The cornerback is expected to be out for at least a couple of weeks to recover from his hamstring injury.

The Bucs star took to Twitter to express his frustrations, vowing he’ll get back on the field soon enough.

Sherman received a handful of well-wishes, but of course there were a few haters in the mix who gave him less-than-encouraging replies.  The Bucs star was able to execute a pretty successful clapback at one fan clowning his performance in Tampa Bay thus far.

But instead of taking the social media L, the fan took the insult from Sherman personally. He responded to the Buccaneers star by invoking the offseason issues that plagued Richard Sherman, which led to his arrest.

With the Twitter public as the jury, it seems as though the fan got the win on this occasion. He may have taken it a little too far, but any war on social media wages on with very few rules.

Here’s to hoping Richard Sherman can make a full recovery from his hamstring injury and let his play do the talking with the Buccaneers.
