Unless you've been living in an underground bunker with no access to NFL action, you've seen Antonio Brown pull off yet another eyeball-drawing stunt on live television. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver stripped down and threw his gear into the stands as he exited the stadium, and essentially the NFL.

The crux behind the abrupt departure was a dispute around Antonio Brown's lingering ankle injury. The Buccaneers felt that he was healthy enough to play, being cleared by their medical team and also playing during their prior week matchup against the Carolina Panthers.

But obviously, Brown felt differently – and we all know how he can get when he's feeling disagreeable.

The latest report from Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times backs Antonio Brown's case. According to him, a “top surgeon” made the assessment that the Bucs wideout should not have been on the playing field given the state of his ankle.

“Antonio's friends were worried about the pain he was experiencing so they encouraged him to see a top surgeon outside the Bucs' organization. That visit and an MRI confirm his serious pain”

Bruce Arians, on the other hand, has been defiant about any mismanagement from the Buccaneers side. According to him, the ankle was fine and not as problematic as Brown reportedly made it seem.

Via CBS Sports:

“None whatsoever,” Arians said. “He was cleared to play last week [and] played [well]. And [he was] cleared to play this week.”

The Buccaneers are in the midst of another run for the Super Bowl trophy. But right now, AB is all anyone's talking about.
