Buccaneers' quarterback Tom Brady doubled down on his request to the world's richest man after Elon Musk's $44 billion deal with Twitter: delete the combine photo. You know the one. So perfectly early-2000s.

When rumors began to swirl about Musk's desire to privatize Twitter, Tom Brady tweeted at him with a request.

And today, following the announcement of Musk's $44 billion deal, the former Patriot, current Buccaneer, and almost Dolphin doubled down.

Unfortunately for Brady, one of Musk's main reasonings behind taking Twitter private is to increase free speech on the app. If people want to post that magnificent photo, Musk won't be the one to stop 'em.

Brady meanwhile, continues to build on what has been quite the offseason. The 44-year-old put many NFL fans out of his misery when he announced his retirement following the season. But Brady then decided to do his best Brett Favre impersonation and un-retire just weeks later. His presumed return to the Bucs then took a turn when rumors swirled over an Oceans 11-level scheme that would've seen him end up in a Miami Dolphins uniform instead.

Oh, and then his head coach Bruce Arians retired from coaching and will take a front office role in Tampa Bay moving forward. And new rumors began of a possible riff between Brady and Arians.

Nevertheless, Brady will take the field again for the Bucs in 2022, looking for one more—who even knows anymore—run at an eighth Super Bowl ring. But today, let everyone be reminded, lest we forget: No matter how much money you have, who you're connected to, or what you've accomplished in life, the internet never forgets.
