Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers snapped a two-game losing streak with a dominant 30-10 win over the hapless New York Giants on Monday Night Football. The Buccaneers entered losers of consecutive road games to the New Orleans Saints and Washington Football Team, but Monday's game wasn't all that competitive as they moved to 7-3 on the season and 5-0 at home.

Afterward, Brady dropped a simple truth bomb on the easy victory, via PFT's Josh Alper:

“We played better,” Brady said. “Better for all of us when we play better.”

The Buccaneers quarterback then looked ahead as the team enters the stretch run with the hopes of repeating as Super Bowl champions:

“Every day that goes by is closer to the end of the season. Every game is more important, cause there’s fewer of them and you don’t get any of them back,” Brady said. “We’re at a decent point, but we can play a lot better than we played. 7-3 through 10 games, there’s a lot to learn from. Hoping our best football’s ahead of us.”

Brady had a solid performance against the Giants, even if he wasn't quite spectacular (though he had one spectacular run). The Buccaneers star completed 30 out of 46 pass attempts for 307 yards and two touchdowns. He did throw an interception, but that didn't matter as Tampa Bay's defense totally shut down Daniel Jones and the Giants. The Buccaneers forced three turnovers, intercepting Jones twice while also holding them to just 215 yards of total offense.

Tampa Bay will try to change its fortunes on the road this upcoming weekend with a tough one against the streaking Indianapolis Colts.
