More information has just emerged on the mysterious knee surgery the great Tom Brady is set to undergo. While it is not considered to be anything too serious for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar quarterback, a new report is now stating that the surgery is actually “more than just a little cleanup.”

This comes via Ben Volin of the Boston Globe:

On Thursday, news emerged that Brady had to go under the knife for minor knee surgery. Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians himself described the procedure as a “clean up,” which has been disputed by this recent report.

Brady looked absolutely fine — like he always does — in the Buccaneers' 31-9 domination over the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LV.

This injury, which Brady reportedly sustained during the season and not while he was frolicking during Tampa Bay's post-Super Bowl festivities, is now getting even more mysterious as further details surface.

It is also worth noting that the above tweet mentions how this surgery will actually further Brady's legacy. Based on this statement alone, it would be safe to assume that the newly-crowned seven-time Super Bowl champ has been playing through the knee problem for a significant period of time.

Brady is as durable as they come, and he's clearly not the type that sits out games due to minor injuries, and this recent narrative might just serve as further testament to the Buccaneers star's GOAT status.
