Tom Brady has started to get momentum swinging his way after a touchdown pass to rookie wideout Tyler Johnson to give the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a 21-10 lead over the Green Bay Packers.
The touchdown catch is Johnson's first touchdown of his career as well. Coming into Sunday against the Packers, Johnson hadn't registered any catches until Week 5 against the Chicago Bears. He finished that game catching four of six Tom Brady targets for 61 yards. He also averaged 15.25 yards per reception.
The Bucs got off to a slow start against the Packers initially. the first quarter saw a quick field goal and score by running back Aaron Jones for the Packers, giving them a 10-0 lead. Tom Brady's performance was also at a standstill throughout the first quarter mostly, which contributed to the Bucs' late arrival in the game.
Tom Brady has now completed 10-of-12 passes for 63 yards. The Bucs' defense has been phenomenal as well, intercepting two passes from Aaron Rodgers throughout the game so far.
