The college football season is here and set for some huge games on Thursday night. One of the marquee games is the Ohio State Buckeyes against the Minnesota Gophers. Unfortunately, the Buckeyes got hit with some unfortunate injury news ahead of their season opener.

According to Bill Landis of The Athletic, the Buckeyes will be down two starters, center Henry Miller and cornerback Cameron Brown.

“Center Harry Miller, cornerback Cameron Brown and defensive tackle Jerron Cage are listed as unavailable on the Buckeyes’ pregame status report. Ohio State does not specify why players are unavailable.”

Jerron Cage is also unavailable for the team, and what is strange is that they don't list the reason for these players being out of the game. So, not exactly the way the Buckeyes envisioned their opener going, especially on the road against a tough Minnesota team.

While Brown and Miller are the starters, Landis mentions that the biggest loss could be Cage, depending on how the game flows for the Gophers offense on Thursday.

The game should be a massive one, and with National title hopes galore for Ohio State, they definitely need to get off on the right foot in their season opener.
