The Milwaukee Bucks managed to grind out a victory against the red-hot Houston Rockets on Friday night, 123-114.
But things didn't look as sunny as the final score suggests early in the fourth quarter, as Giannis Antetokounmpo committed a humorous blunder that dug the Bucks in a deeper hole in Houston. The Greek Freak spoke out on his failed backboard pass to start a fastbreak that ended up becoming a turnover.

“Look, if it worked out, it would be a genius play,” claimed Giannis Antetokounmpo after the game.
See the play for yourself to decide whether it was nearly crazy enough to work, or something Bucks fans should erase from memory.
“I thought he was going to throw a lob and I was going to have to go block it,” continued the Bucks star. “But all of a sudden the ball is at my legs and I can't stop. And I think I took one or two steps, so I like don't know what to do. There's going to be a travel. So I just threw it off the backboard and hoped somebody's going to be behind me to get it.”
If it had been successful, the play surely would have topped every highlight reel on the evening. But alas, there's sometimes a fine line between success and failure.
“For sure, I'm going to be on ‘Shaqtin-a-Fool'. But if it had worked out, it would be a great play.”
The Milwaukee Bucks frontman has earned every right to freewheel like he did on that play. When it comes to Giannis Antetokounmpo, he'll make these crazy plays work in his favor more times than not.
