Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to strengthen his case for back-to-back MVP awards.

The reigning MVP tallied 32 points and 17 rebounds in the Bucks' 128-123 win over the Boston Celtics on Thursday. It is his ninth 30-point, 15-rebound outing of the season. The Greek Freak is way ahead in that category, as you can see in the tweet below from ESPN Stats and Info.

Antetokounmpo has been spectacular across all facets this season. He's averaged 30.1 points, 12.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.1 steals and 1.1 blocks entering Thursday's game. He is locked in a tight race for the MVP award at the beginning of the 2019-20 regular season campaign. The Houston Rockets' James Harden, Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James, and Dallas Mavericks' Luka Doncic have all had strong starts so far.

Riding the high of a five-game winning streak, the Bucks still hold the best record in the league. Milwaukee has won 37 of their first 43 games of the season. The re-tooled Mike Budenholzer-mentored squad is primed to make out of the East this year after last year's disappointment in the conference finals.

Antetokounmpo's unparalleled dominance, meanwhile, has earned him some comparison to NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O'Neal. The 25-year-old superstar has been virtually unstoppable down low, especially when he gets a full head of steam in the break.

Expect Antetokounmpo to record more 30-point, 15-rebound outing before this season ends.
