Giannis Antetokounmpo often feels like he was pulled straight out of a superhero comic book. The Milwaukee Bucks forward has limbs like Mr. Fantastic and has a wacky enough name to part of the Marvel universe.
The Greek Freak, The Alphabet, and even his actual name all feel like viable candidates for his hero moniker. But apparently the Bucks star has much more in common with a supervillain: Thanos. Giannis Antetokounmpo wants all the awards, and he has a plan straight out of the MCU to do just that.
There's been much fanfare about Giannis Antetokounmpo winning a handful of NBA awards by just his age-26 season. But now the Bucks frontman has his sights set on gathering every single NBA award he can get his hands on, even the one he has no chance of getting anymore: Rookie of the Year. Does Giannis think he's Ben Simmons or something?
Maybe a more viable plan would be to sneak back into the NBA prospect circuit disguised as yet another Antetkounmpo brother since there seem to be a dozen of them. I'm sure the Bucks would be fully supportive of Giannis' plans to take a gap year to fulfill his destiny. After all, he just won them the NBA championship.
