The Milwaukee Bucks had another easy win on Saturday, blowing out the Brooklyn Nets, 117-97. As always, Giannis Antetokounmpo had another impressive performance, logging 29 points on 12-of-20 shooting, along with two triples, 12 rebounds, four assists, and a steal in just 25 minutes of action.

The Bucks are now 38-6 and are the heavy favorite to emerge as the top seed in the Eastern Conference for the second year running. The confidence is sky high in Cream City, with Antetokounmpo himself feeling a bit of invincibility:

“I don’t think there’s a team in this league we cannot beat,” Antetokounmpo said, via Michael Lee of The Athletic.

This is a perfectly reasonable statement here given the individual and team dominance on display when the Bucks play, especially considering there are still plenty of doubters about the Bucks' title chances. Nonetheless, Giannis then dialed it back a bit, saying that his focus remains completely intact as he takes things one day at a time. He has the right mindset:

“Always got to stay focused. I think we’ve built a winning culture around the team. We know when it’s game time we’ve got to go out there and win,” Antetokounmpo said. ”So, we just go out there and try to put ourselves in a position that we can win every night and we’ve done that so far. We haven’t stopped at all. We stayed humble. We stay hungry. And we keep trying to play good basketball. We keep trying to get better and so far it’s worked.”

On a individual level, Antetokounmpo is currently averaging a career-high 30.0 points (on 55.3 percent shooting), 12.8 rebounds, 5.5 assists, 1.1 steals, and a block as the Bucks star looks on his way to back-to-back MVP wins while potentially making some history in the process.
