Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has had a terrific offseason after winning the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns. The NBA Finals MVP has enjoyed every second of it after signing a massive extension to keep him in Milwaukee for a long time.

Well, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN, Giannis is purchasing a stake in the Brewers and is following the path set by Patrick Mahomes.

It appears that the NBA Finals MVP is following in the footsteps of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is a part-owner for a number of teams in Kansas City.

It's a rather smart move by Giannis, as he is set to be with the Bucks for a long time, and after winning an NBA title, there is a strong chance he spends his entire career there. He has been riding the high wave since taking home the Finals crown, and the Bucks aren't going away anytime soon, either.

This should help boost the Bucks' stars cash inflow, and in turn, it could also help the Brewers. After all, seeing the NBA Champion and one of the best players in the league at Brewers games is a special sight in itself.

This could be a more common theme and perhaps more players venture into avenues such as this one.
