Giannis Antetokounmpo didn't have an off night by any stretch of the imagination in Game 5. The Milwaukee Bucks superstar looked every bit the part of a 2-time MVP. The Greek Freak posted a monster double-double with 34 points and 12 assists.

But he was clearly overshadowed by an even greater performance from Kevin Durant, who decided to put the entire Brooklyn Nets squad on his back. Here's what the Bucks frontman had to say about being outplayed by KD:

Hard to argue with Giannis' take there after he vanquished the Bucks with arguably his best ever playoff performance. When his team needed him most with the odds stacked against him, he rose to the occasion. That's what separates the great players from the all-timers.

The Nets forward finished with 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists for one of the most eye-popping stat lines you'll ever see. The fact that it came with his two co-stars hobbled against a title-contending Bucks team gives it even more shine. Kevin Durant made virtually every clutch shot to keep the Nets ahead, including this insane contested triple with under a minute to play.

The Bucks must defend their home floor as they return to Milwaukee in Game 6. For their sake, they better hope Kevin Durant cools off on the trip there.
