The Milwaukee Bucks got some tough news on Tuesday as they have found out that Pat Connaughton and Grayson Allen have both joined the covid protocols. The Bucks have certainly not gotten lucky with the number of players that they have had in the protocols as they have been dealing with this the entire year.
They're going to miss both Allen and Connaughton as they are two of the best 3-point shooters for the Bucks. Connaughton is one of the best Bucks role-players. We saw that last season during the NBA Playoffs as he certainly performed better than most were expecting. He has continued his play throughout this season and has been a big reason why the Bucks have had the success that they have had despite all their injuries.
Grayson Allen has been playing very good basketball this season for the bucks as his 3-point percentage is nearly 40% on 7 attempts per game. Milwaukee is certainly going to miss both of these guys and after their loss against the Detroit Pistons on Monday night, they're going to need everybody to step up if they want to get back on track after a very disappointing loss.
Although Milwaukee has dealt with some unfortunate injuries and players in the protocols this year, when all of their guys are on the court they are definitely one of the best teams in the NBA once again. They will certainly have another great chance at winning an NBA title.
