Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer says point guard George Hill “won't play any less” with combo guard Malcolm Brogdon's impending return to the lineup.
Brogdon has been out since March with a minor plantar fascia tear in his right foot. He is expected to play in Game 5 on Wednesday against the Boston Celtics:
Hill is averaging 11.6 points, 2.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game for the Bucks in the playoffs. The veteran guard is shooting 53.8 percent from the field, 39.1 percent from beyond the arc and 82.4 percent from the free-throw line.
During the regular season, Brogdon averaged 15.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists per contest and shot an efficient 50.5 percent from the field, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 92.8 percent from the free-throw line. The Bucks are excited to get him back in the lineup with the hopes he will help them get to the NBA Finals.
The Bucks can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals by defeating the Celtics on Wednesday. After losing Game 1 of this series, Milwaukee has dominated the next three games.
With Brogdon back, the Bucks' depth at the guard position will be strong. Eric Bledsoe, Hill and Brogdon are all high-level players.
Things are looking really good for Milwaukee right about now.
