Mike Budenholzer has unlocked the full potential of the Milwaukee Bucks, and unfortunately for the Atlanta Hawks, they were on the wrong end of history on Friday.
The Bucks built a 29-point lead versus the Hawks on Friday at home, as they led 43-14 after the first quarter. It was the largest first quarter lead in franchise history.

The Bucks aren't messing around this season. Entering Friday evening, Milwaukee is first in the NBA in points per game, averaging 117.0 points on a nightly basis.
In a wide-open Eastern Conference, Milwaukee feels it has a great opportunity at winning the conference and advancing to the NBA Finals now that LeBron James is out West.
It helps that the Bucks have one of the best players in the league in superstar swingman Giannis Antetokounmpo, a sound two-way wing in Khris Middleton, and one of the fastest point guards in the NBA in Eric Bledsoe.
Budenholzer, however, is the key to all of this. He has installed an offense that is free-flowing and predicated on off-ball movement and back screens. As a result, the Bucks are scoring at will this season and the Hawks found that out the hard way on Friday.
