Milwaukee Bucks teammates Giannis Antetokounmpo and Pat Connaughton have become very close friends over the years, and one of their favorite things to do together is to work out in the gym whenever there's a day off from NBA action.

In an interview with Lori Nickel of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, Connaughton shared some stories of how he usually competes with Antetokounmpo to see who can lift more weights in the gym.

“When I got here Giannis already kind of understood the importance of strength training. You could tell just from the change in his body – from since he’s been in the league until now,” Connaughton started.

“He was probably the strongest guy on the team. I like to take that as a challenge. So I would always give him a hard time: ‘I can lift more than you.’ He would always say, ‘No you can’t.’”

“It got to a point where we just became lifting buddies. And we pushed each other to see who could lift more, who could do it more efficiently, more explosively.”

Pat Connaughton and Giannis Antetokounmpo usually post their gym photos on Instagram, and they are really confident about their strengths to a point that they challenged Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson to a wrestling match.

Antetokounmpo is one of the nicest guys in the league, so it's not a surprise that he's able to build great relationships with teammates, including Connaughton,
