Milwaukee Bucks forward Thon Maker decided to embrace the holiday spirit by rocking some festive shoes in Tuesday's game against the New York Knicks.

With the NBA having a loaded Christmas slate, it's always fun to see what kind of creative ideas that players come up with to show off their love for the holidays.

And, well, Maker did not disappoint by putting together these awesome kicks for the special occasion:

It appears his cool Christmas sneakers gave him a nice boost on the court, as he finished with 12 points and three rebounds in 15 minutes of play while helping Milwaukee pick up a 109-95 victory.

As expected, it was the Giannis Antetokuonmpo show at Madison Square Garden, with the Bucks star racking up 30 points, 14 rebounds, four steals, three assists, and two blocks in 35 minutes of action.

Rookie forward Kevin Knox led the way for the Knicks with 21 points.

The win helped Maker and company get back on track after the disappointing 94-87 loss to the Miami Heat last Saturday. Milwaukee now sits at 23-10 on the season while staying a game and a half ahead of the Indiana Pacers in the Central Division.

And what's even better for the Bucks is that after playing six of seven games on the road, they'll now return back to the friendly confines of Fiserv Forum for six straight games.

Milwaukee will prepare for a rematch with the Knicks on Thursday night before hosting the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

With so many home games in a row, there's no doubt that the Bucks could improve their record drastically before going back on the road on Jan. 9.
