Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to be more than ready to take the floor again for the upcoming season. Just recently, the reigning back-to-back MVP shared a highlight reel video of some of his best plays over the years, which also included an interesting caption from the Giannis.

Antetokounmpo admitted that he misses playing the game at this point:

It was recently announced that the NBPA had already approved December 22 as the start date of the new season. This means that the wait won't be too long now for Giannis, who seems to be raring to go at this point. While some players have been complaining about the extremely shortened offseason, Giannis Antetokounmpo appears to counting the days.

It was a disappointing end to the campaign for the Giannis and the Bucks last season, as they were upset by the Miami Heat in the second round. The frustration has certainly been one of Antetokoumpo's motivation to make amends this coming season.

Then again, there's a little matter of his contract that needs to be settled soon. The Bucks are expected to table a supermax extension for the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, and while he has already indicated that he intends to sign the same, anything can still happen.

Giannis has two more years remaining in his current deal, which is why Milwaukee need to secure his extension sooner rather than later. Barring a shocking change of heart form both parties, though, Giannis Antetokounmpo should still be a Buck for next season. And hopefully for the Milwaukee faithful, beyond that.
