Not even waiting until the start of their training camp, the Milwaukee Bucks have already parted ways with their recent signing, Jalen Moore. He is now a free agent and could sign with any team that will have interest in him.

The 22-year-old came to terms with the Bucks back in July for a two-way deal, but his anxiety issues worsened this offseason, despite receiving treatment and getting the support of the team, per Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Moore, who went undrafted out of Utah State, says he has been battling anxiety. However, he didn't realize the severity of the issue until recently. During college, Moore pushed his feelings down, chalking them up to nervousness or regular stress.

Over the course of this summer, his anxiety worsened to the point where basketball, which had always been his escape, wasn't helping anymore. Moore began to get help and received the full support of the Bucks, but he ultimately realized he needed to focus on his own well-being.

Moore was part of the Bucks' Summer League squad after coming off a solid stint with Utah State during his NCAA days where he averaged 13.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game in four seasons.

Given his condition, it doesn’t appear like he will get another opportunity for a two-way or training camp deal anytime soon. The good news for Moore though, is there have been professional athletes in the past  who's been in a similar situation, but overcame it to continue their careers.

It remains to be seen if the Bucks will still sign a player to replace Moore’s spot, as they only have Bronson Koenig as their two-way contract signee, whom they can send to their G-League affiliate should he not make the final cut before the regular season starts.
